Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme 2022 Application Is Now Open for Nepalese Students
Good news for Nepalese students in Nepal as The Embassy of India, Kathmandu invites online applications for Mahatma Gandhi and Golden Jubilee Scholarship Schemes from Nepali nationals studying in Nepal. Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Indian Government Scholarship is now open. Selected students will get a scholarship of NRs. 2,000/- per month. The last date of submission of the application is January 06, 2022. You will be disqualified from the scholarship if you are failed in Class XI or discontinues study for any other valid reason. Meanwhile, The Embassy of India reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its discretion.

Eligibility For Mahatma Gandhi Scholarship Scheme 2022
- Applicant should be a regular student of Class XI and studying in any recognized school/college of Nepal. Proof of student studying in Class XI attested by Principal to be uploaded.
- Applicant should have secured at least 60% aggregate marks at the High School (SEE)/Class 10th and mark sheet to be uploaded.
- The applicant should be a citizen of Nepal. Citizenship certificate of self or parents to be uploaded(If your citizenship certificate is not available, then you may upload citizenship of your parents).
- Physically challenged candidates should upload proof from CDO/LDO/Municipality Head.
- The family income of the candidate must be less than NRs. 2,00,000/- per annum and income proof should be provided by CDO/LDO/Municipality Head and to be uploaded.
- Note: Those who are receiving scholarships from any other source are not eligible to apply.

- Marksheet of SEE/CBSE/10th scan copy
- Scan copy of the certificate from the Principal of the school where he/she is studying class XI
- Certificate of family income from CDO/Rural Municipality(original) scan copy
- Attach Certificate of Physically Challenged ( If you are physically challenged)
