Takshashila Progressive English School, located in Birtamode, Jhapa, has proudly won two major international awards at the World School Summit 2025, recently held in Bangkok, Thailand.
The school received these awards last Friday in recognition of its transformative contribution to education through academic excellence, child-friendly practices, and strong leadership. Takshashila was honored in two categories: Best Overall School and Best Montessori School.
The awards were presented to the school’s Executive Director Dr. Anjali Karki Prasai and Managing Director Dr. Nirajan Prasai for their leadership. Representing the school at the event in Bangkok were Victor I. Joseph, the Academic Director, and Seema Joseph, the Montessori Director, who accepted the awards on behalf of the school.
These international honors reflect global recognition of Takshashila’s efforts in promoting progressive teaching methods, value-based education, and child-centered Montessori learning that foster the holistic development of students.
Dr. Victor Ignatius Joseph, who has over 23 years of experience in educational leadership and international teaching, was also acknowledged. The school extended heartfelt thanks to all its teachers, students, and parents for their continued support, which helped achieve this remarkable milestone.
